Class of 1959
   
David G. Roach, 57, of Hardwick, died February 25, 1997 after a long illness. He was president of Hardwick Landfill, Inc. and of David Roach and Sons, Inc. He was a member of the Hardwick Council on Aging, the Joseph Pilsudski Society and the Solid Waste Association of North America. He leaves his wife Norma, 3 sons, 4 daughters and 15 grandchildren.
   
Joseph R. Trela, 60, of Littleton, died suddenly on Martha's Vineyard on July 16, 1997. He worked for Bedford Research Park for 20 years, for the town of Concord in the Park and Tree, Highway and Conservation departments for several years. He also worked for the National Parks department in Concord and most recently for Nagog Woods in Acton. His first wife Faith died in 1994. He is survived by his second wife Patricia, 2 sons, 2 daughters and his mother.
