| Herbert A. Camann, 73, of Athol died March 23, 1997. He
was and Army veteran of WWII serving both in Africa and Italy. After graduating from
Stockbridge he moved to Franklin, NH where he operated the News and Book Company for 10
years. He moved back to Athol and spent 20 years with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in
1988. He leaves his wife Helen, a daughter and a granddaughter. |

Donald H. Long,
66, died at his home in N. Falmouth in September 1997. He received a degree from
Bridgewater State College after graduating from Stockbridge; he spent his life as a
teacher. For almost 30 years he taught physical education in the elementary and high
schools of Sandwich, retiring in 1986. He then owned and operated the Village Green Inn in
Falmouth. He was a member of the DeWitt Clinton Masonic Lodge, the Cape Cod Soccer
Officials Association, the Falmouth Historical Society, and ATG. He leaves his wife Linda,
3 daughters, 2 sons and 8 grandchildren.

| Walter D. Moynihan, 68, died December 30, 1996 at
Hubbard Regional Hospital after being stricken at his home in Dudley. He worked at
Garelick Farms in Franklin for 20 years, retiring in 1996 as senior vice president.
Previously, he was a general manager at Deary Brothers milk plant in Dudley and a
production manager for Sealtest Foods in Springfield and Rochester. He was a U.S. Army
veteran of the Korean Conflict. Besides his wife Bridie, he leaves 2 sons and 2
grandchildren, a son and a daughter predecease him. |

Robert W. Stelle of Wrightsville, PA, died of
natural causes February 19, 1998. He was 71 years old. He retired in 1981 as entomologist
for the U.S. Department of Agriculture working in the Research Service Plant Pest Control
Division. As such, he worked all over the eastern seaboard in various positions having to
do with domestic quarantine programs, prevention of the spread of plant pests and the
eradication of some. He received his BS degree in 1968 from Syracuse University with a
major in biological science and entomology. In retirement he was a water meter reader for
the Wrightsville Water Company. He was an Army veteran of WWII serving in the European
theater. He was an active member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Wrightsville.
Besides his wife Ruth, he leaves a daughter, a son and 5 grandchildren. |
