Class of 1932

   
Floyd M. Galbraith, Sr., died October 12 1997. He moved from E. Colrain, MA in '88 to live with his son Floyd Jr. in York, NY. Before retirement, he was a supervisor for the former Kendall Mills in Griswoldville. He also farmed in Colrain for many years and was instrumental in developing the Galbraith Baldwin apple. Besides his wife Marjorie, he leaves 2 sons, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
   
Eldon Pond.gif (61410 bytes)Eldon D. Pond, 86, of Northport, ME and Grafton, MA died November 13, 1996 after a long illness. Until his retirement in '76, he was president of the Worcester Envelope Company. He was a director of the Savers Cooperative Bank and a member of the Worcester Rotary Club. At one time, he served on the Grafton School Committee. He was also active with ATG and a trustee of the James Crockett Fund. He donated paper for the first report of the Jim Crockett Fund and a large custom mailing envelope for the '97 SSA calendar. Besides his wife Henrietta he is survived by a son, a daughter, 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
