Class of 1927
   
Amos H. Holt, 92, of Mays Landing, NJ died June 13, 1996 at the Mainland Manor Nursing Home in Pleasantville, NJ. Amos retired in 1963 after serving 34 years as a maintenance supervisor for New Jersey Highways. He then worked as a road supervisor for Atlantic County from 1965 to 1975. He was an Atlantic County Freeholder from 1948 to 1962 and was president of the Hamilton Township Republican Club. He also served on the Hamilton Township Committee and the Board of Education. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church. His interests included gardening, duck hunting and fishing; at one time he served as president of the Atlantic County Fish and Game Club. He leaves a son, a daughter, 2 sisters, 4 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
